Payment Shipping and Contact Information Please remember we are located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Payment Options Through this site you are able to purchase goods in a number of ways. Some are in real time others require you to do a bit more work. The methods are Paypal, Bpay, EFT & Money orders or Credit cards. Below is a brief description of how they work. Paypal Paypal is a real time gateway used by many people to pay for things on the internet. When this option is selected you will be transfered from our secure site to paypal and then back to our site. A very good option for quick shipment of your goods. Bpay Bpay can be used to purchase goods but we only accept payments from your savings account. This maybe made via telephone banking or through your banks online system. The receipt will have our Bpay details and reference number. Both these are required to make a sucessful payment. Please be aware that it may take up to 3 days for your payment to appear in our account when using the Bpay system. Not the best one to use if you want things quick. EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) & Australia Post money orders This method is ideal for people who do not have a credit card or paypal account. It requires a bit more work on your part but will suit businesses or non net savy people. When this option is selected at checkout a reciept will be generated with our bank details. There are a couple of ways to go from here. 1. If you have internet banking use our account details to make the payment using the order number to ID payment and email us the reciept. 2. Walk into any branch of the Commonwealth Bank and deposit the money over the counter using the order number to ID payment. 3. Go to any Australia Post outlet and have an Australian Post money order made out to the Melbourne Food Ingredient Depot, attach to a copy of the invoice and send it to us. IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING EFT All orders using this method will be terminated if payment has not been received within 7 days. The goods will be returned to stock and the order will no longer be regarded as active. Credit Cards - Visa and Mastercard This is the original method we started with. Additional information maybe required from the person ordering prior to despatch of the goods if we are not satisfied with the information provided. If this is a problem please select one of the other payment options. Shipping of your purchases The shipping & handling charges associated with this online purchasing system can be broken down into the following areas. You maybe presented with a variety of options at checkout. Once you have chosen you order will be shipped using this method. 1. National Australian orders using the Australia Post eParcel system 2. Express post 5 kg satchels - Not all products fit inside this option. It is next day to a select group of postcodes. The Express Post 5kg satchel is a PayPal approved (proof of shipment) option when the customer receipt is completed and postmarked. 3. Courier service is only available to BUSINESS CUSTOMERS ONLY with a street address.. 4. International Orders - for all our international customers please remember we are located in Melbourne Australia. The purchasing site will determine your location from the IP address you are using. We use EMS for all our international orders. Damage of your package in transit While we take great care to package all orders to prevent damage during transport, sometimes accidents can occur which are out of our control. The Melbourne Food Depot will not be held responsible for any damages resulting from transportation of purchased items, such damage is the sole responsibility of the Courier / Transportation company making delivery. If you do not agree with this condition please do not purchase goods from the Melbourne Food Depot. Free Shipping applies to all local Australian orders over a certain dollar amount. This dollar value is $190 inc GST for orders from QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, & SA. Orders from NT and WA it is $260 inc GST shipped via Australia Posts eParcel system for residential customers or Courier for business customers. You must select this free option at checkout otherwise charges will apply. Australian shipping  eParcel Under our continuing agreement with Australia Post all our parcels will be shipped via the eParcel system. This system has many benefits; 1. Parcels can be tracked via the eParcel website. The link is provided below, it will open in a new window. 2. All parcels will require a signature to ensure a closed loop system. This has benifits for buyer as well as seller. Parcels cannot be left at addresses if nobody is home the parcel will divert to the closest post office or LPO. 3. This is the best system to select to know exactly where your shipment is at anytime. How to track your eParcel It is very easy, follow this link and enter in your shipping number, sent to you in the shipping email, into the required field. Australia Post now has an iPhone App that can also be used to track your parcels. To obtain this app go to the iTunes store. This purchasing site operates via weight. Please remember that Australia Post have a maximum of 20kg. Australia Post delivers between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday only. We are unable to guarantee a delivery time or date. We do however require someone to sign for the consignment. If nobody is around the package will be diverted to the closest post office.  Express post 5Kg Satchel - $23.00 Not all products fit inside this option. It is next day to a select group of postcodes in the following states SA, VIC, NSW, QLD, ACT and TAS. To confirm if you postcode is in the selected region feel free to call us. The Express Post 5kg satchel is a PayPal approved (proof of shipment) option when the customer receipt is completed and postmarked. How to obtain free Australian shipping via Australia Post Simply spend over $190.00 (if you are ordering from QLD, NSW, VIC, ACT and SA) or $260 for orders from WA and NT and your Australia Post shipping is automatically free when you select the free shipping option at checkout. It is that easy. This offer does not cover the courier options provided.  Courier Services - Please note we DO NOT offer a same day courier service. The Courier option is only available to BUSINESS CUSTOMERS WITH A STREET ADDRESS.
