Sodium ascorbate is non acidic and will not contribute to gastric irritation. Sodium ascorbate is a buffered form of Vitamin C. It is usually used for the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiencies. Vitamin C is an antioxidant and free radical scavenger. This product is pharmaceutical grade (USP & BP) and contains no fillers or flavours. Vitamin C is water soluble and only small amounts are stored in the body after it is absorbed.
Vitamin C is also an important aid for animals. Its main roll is in fighting infection and combatting the effects of pollution and stress.
