Potassium Sorbate Granules
Product description:
White powder, crystals or granules which are soluble in water.
Main uses as a bacteriostat for wine (known as wine stabiliser)
and in meat production.
What does Potassium Sorbate do?
Potassium sorbate is used as a bacteriostat (inhibits molds
and yeasts in many foods) in such foods as cheese,
wine, yogurt, dried meats, apple cider and baked goods.
It can also be found in dried fruit products and herbal dietary
supplements. Its main role is to prevent mold and microbes and to increase
shelf life, this is quite often achieved using small amounts.
