L-Carnitine helps regulate the long chain fatty acid transport across into the mitochondria. Tartrate is a stable base making mixing with water or juice no problem.

Fat can only be converted to energy if L-Carnitine is present. L-Carnitine may also play a major role in supporting the reduction of surface fats and also with conditions such as cellulite.

It may also be helpful in the removal of ketones (fat waste) from the blood.
