Cream of Tartar Powder
Product description:
Cream of Tartar is actually the potassium acid salt of tartaric acid.
It is a white powder or crystals and is soluble in boiling water.
What does Cream of Tartar do?
Cream of tartar has many uses including, stabilizing egg whites, increasing egg whites
heat tolerance and volume, preventing sugar syrups from crystallising (wide range of cakes and slices), reducing discolouration of boiled vegetables, used to activate baking soda (a major ingredient in baking powder) and even used in combination with potassium chloride for sodium-free salt substitutes.
This product is also used by kindergartens to make home made playdoh.
