What does Malic Acid do?
Malic acid (Do not confuse with maleic acid) is found in a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, but the richest source is apples. Malic acid has been used in connection with a variety of diseases including cronic fatigue. Check with your health care professional prior to taking.
In the food industry it is used in the manufacture of esters, salts, wine manufacture and as a food flavouring/acid.
What does malic acid do? Occurs naturally in unripe apples and other fruits. Made synthetically by catalytic oxidation. The natural material is levorotatory but the synthetic material is inactive.
